Mrs. John Elkins

On the morning of March 25th., the entire community at this place was bereaved by the death of Mrs. John Elkins.  She was a devoted wife, a patient loving, a kind friend and neighbor, whom to know was to love.  We deeply sympathize with her heart broken husband and the precious children.  And may the children of Mrs. Elkins be as well prepared as she was to enter the glory land with all its brightness, peace and joy.  She was buried at Indian Creek cemetery 25th, inst., where she was a member, in presence of a large number of people.  The funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. J. Bledsoe
