Judge Robert G. Anderson

Judge Robert G. Anderson died Monday afternoon at 2'oclock at his home in Forsyth,  the cause of his death being paralysis.  The Judge was stricken last Thursday and remained in a helpless and in unconscious condition until death relieved him of his suffering.  Judge Anderson was born in South Carolina bout seventy-five years ago, and removed to this country some forty years ago.  He was a Democratic clerk of the superior court during the days of reconstruction being one of the few Democratic candidates elected in those, the carpet-beggars' days.  He leaves an aged widow and three children to mourn his death.  J. Sam Anderson, his only son, is a prosperous farmer near town.  Miss Sallie Anderson, his unmarried daughter, and a splendid school teacher, has charge of a flourishing school in South Georgia.  Mrs. Cook, his married daughter, resides near Covington, Newton County.  His remains will be laid to rest in Covington, Ga., with Masonic honors.
